A Much Needed Get Away to Start the New Year.

Everybody needs time away from the grind and monotony. When one of my friends asked if I could be her plus one to a wedding in Caye Caulker, Belize, I jumped on the idea straight away! I couldn’t skip out on the opportunity especially since it had been over a year that I've taken any kind of real vacation. I've been working hard for a couple of years now and it's time I have some fun! Life is too short to work hard for nothing!

Caye Caulker island will forever have a special place in my heart. There were no cars on the island and people got around by foot, bike or golf carts! Freshly grilled lobster is what we had for dinner every night and it was delicious. The only downfall were the amount of mosquitoes that ate me alive! I must have came home with approximately 70 mosquito bites!! Aside from the mosquitoes, the people were so friendly there. Some of the activities that we decided to do was kayaking and night time snorkeling. Belize is definitely one of the trips I will never forget! It was an "Un-Belizeable" time!

We stayed in a two story villa within walking distance to the beach.
